18UAA Lees (Summit'18) & Delseni (Livingston '18) stalwarts in net

Innovative and progressive goaltender training program powers two Jersey Colts goalies into the New Jersey Varsity High School Hockey Player of the Year conversation.

Wilson Lees (Summit ’18) and Matt Delseni (Livingston ’18) have both been stalwarts in net for their respective high school programs. Both goaltenders participated in our new innovative and progressive goaltending program directed by Chris Borkes. Wilson and Matt have both benefitted from the work they put in during their Midget 18U AA season with the Jersey Colts. The combination of hard work and expert training along with the creative use of specialized goaltender training aids to maximize development primed both Matt and Wilson for their eventual standout seasons they are now having for their respective High School teams.

Head goaltending coach Chris Borkes commented "Both Lees and Delsini are fierce competitors on the ice. It's no surprise to see them in the conversation for New Jersey Varsity High School Hockey Player of The Year award.  They both set their sights on being a dominant a presence on the ice for their respective leagues and are accomplishing that this season. Wilson and Matt have the trusted the process and were focused on improving their game the past few years. As Jersey Colts 18U AA teammates, I could see them improving each practice and pushing each other to be better all-season long."

“The Jersey Colts organization takes great pride in providing our players with the latest and most innovative skills training available in North America. With the addition of our Head Goalie coach Chris Borkes this season, we now have the edge in creating a dynamic curriculum for the entire program.” Commented, Director of Hockey and Player Development, Kevin Kamenski

The Jersey Colts organization would like to wish both Wilson and Matt the best of luck in their quest for achieving league and state championships.
