The Jersey Colts Squirt Black team has been rolling since the puck dropped on the 2019-20 season. Competing in the Lake Placid division of the New Jersey Youth Hockey League the Squirt Black team ran through the North division finishing with a record of 18-0 earning them the number 1 seed and a first-round bye in the NJYHL playoffs.

On Saturday the Colts traveled to Hollydell Ice Arena for a semi-final matchup against the host Hollydell Hurricanes. The Colts would ride the hot sticks of Jackson Willis and Ed Hushon (2 goals apiece) along with strong goaltending from Nate Pryslak to a 4-0 victory.

Sunday the Colts arrived for a Finals matchup with the Jersey City Capitals looking to complete their perfect season. The Colts came flying out of the gates to build a 4-0 lead on goals by Clifford Field (3) and Gavin Miller (1). However, the Capitals would not quit and pushed back to make it a 4-2 game. However, It would prove to be too little too late as the Colts and Pryslak clamped down to secure the victory and the perfect season.

Congratulations to all the players and coaches on a tremendous season!
